Can any computer experts tell me how good and how save is "AVAST" AntiVirus? through CNET.com?

Can you please compare it to Kaspersky?

My Kapersky expires tomorrow and I an financially strapped a friend said that AVAST would be good and OK to replace it. He also said that it is the "best free anti virus" ???

If I go with AVAST, can I download it while Kaspersky is in place?
Will it give the option for it to remove it?

OR should I just staavast cnety with "Kaspersky Internet Security 2011" ?

avast will be my choice
Go to control panal add and remove and uninstall Kaspersky, you may require a reboot, but you can install it without avast.

And yes, avast is a pretty good antivirus, I use it.
i avast cnetam always with kaspersky . but since ur licence expires tomorrow , uninstall avast, kaspersky and whatever security software u have and install microsoft security essentials . absolutely 100 % free to use.


AVAST! is nothing compared to Kaspersky.
It uses up to much of your CPU. Kaspersky is perfect, and you could get it for free, but I'm not going into detail with that.

Stay with Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.
